Can i connect my XBox with the PC through a simple fast ethernet cable?

And second question: Is the systemlink cable the same as a fast ethernet cable? wink.gif

The systemlink cable is a patch/crossover cable. And as with xbconnect, you would need a router to give you an outgoing connection with the internet. Any connection from device to device, such as pc to xbox, requires a patch cable, and any connection to a cable modem, router, hub, etc, needs a cat5 (ethernet) cable.

Hope this clears things up.

EDIT: typo.

Note that I am NOT sure if a switch will give the necessacary speed to a computer and xbox to run xbconnect.
