I am gonna try this when I get home from work, but I was curious....

I opened the ST.DB file with a hex editor and found where it points to e:linux.xbe,

would it work to modify this to point to my f:pheonix folder? can the file size change? has anyone tried this?

in theory you could even change the name of the file so you don't have to call it linux.xbe anymore If it works that is....

I just figured it out....

if I move all the hacks to the f drive....xbox won't find it because f is only available if modded....maybe I will move it to my e drive then...

linux.xbe should be in the e drive anyway you could put evolutionx in your f drive if u edit the xboxrom with xbtool anyone thats got xbtool working with a bfm bios plz post how as ive put the rc4key in and the other to files but till get errors with xbtool useing 4977

also if you want to use a 2nd bios in phoenix edit the following in the evox.ini

AudioPlayer = "c:xboxdash.xbe"
MSDashBoard = "e:linux.xbe"

now press eject in evox and go to pheonix your 2nd bios will boot not that you need a 2nd bios with the audio hack

ok if u have a 120g hdd u can put evox into your fdrive or if u have a 8g hdd u can put evox in your edrive to do this download the new 1.0.1b5

look in xbtool/config/more config
copy the debug.ini file and copy it next to the multi.ini file in
xbtool/config
add the rc4key into the debug.ini

now open xbtool and choose bios type debug then open your xboxrom bios change it to f or e boot then save as xboxrom.bin and replace it with the one in your e drive then put evoxdash.xbe evox.ini skins in to the e or f drive

Well, I got it working. Thanks for the help. Am I now able to play backups with the Audio_Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader, or do I need to install something else?

So if i get it good, i put my 80 gb in i use the phoenix shit, and i'm able to use the Fdrive then also ?

yes! and u dont need to put evox in your f drive its just that some people dont like to use evox from there c drive useing xbtool to change what drive the bios boots to lets you put evox in your f drive and keep the c drive 100% default

another question, I just put the files of this file (Audio_Signed_Phoenix_Bios_Loader) into my hdd do I had to do something before put the files? for example signed a .xbe file with the -audio option before doing a thing???

no its all signed you just need to ftp the c/stuff to c and e/stuff to e

The file is not in the packages section of #xbins. Since it is not illegal can someone tell me where to find it?
