Hi,

I bought a modded Xbox when Evolution X had just been released.
It has served me very well indeed, apart from now, well a few months ago... any game that I tried to install to the hard drive would not boot.

I have aquired the new version of Evox (1.8.3285) as I might be right in thinking this will cure it. I also have Px_hdd loader 1.2 wating to be FTPed over.

Can anybody please give me a simpletons guide of how to re-install the newer version of evox without buggering up my lovely machine and also where to put the px_hdd loader. Also can I be advised of any other updates needed maybe like a new 'bios??'

I do know how to FTP stuff etc so no worries there

to run the latest games from HDD you need x2 bios higher than 4975. I would recommend 4977 the latest release. to update evoX just FTP the new one and click 'overwrite' when it asks you. Also in EvoX you must turn off all 3 IGR options in thge settings menu to get games to run

adding to biggas post - installing HDD loader 1.2a will automatically apply the media check patch to any games you backup, thus helping the non booting problem.
