This dash kicks serious ass compared to evox! like i said in another post it's like going from Win3.1 to WinXP, not to put down evox it gets the job done, but MXM gets the job done AND looks damn good doing it biggrin.gif For those of you thinking of switching from evox, i recommend starting off using it as an app in your main dash then configuring it to your likings, and as soon as you got it down do yourself and your eyes a favor and make it your main dash biggrin.gif Thanks for the awesome dash BenJeremy beerchug.gif

P.S.
you should make the "It's About Choice" skin kind of like a mascot and default skin for MXM it's AMAZING

I completly argee i just switched to MxM from EvoX (i also looked aat switching to Avaluanch). And MxM is so much better than both, it was alittle confusing at first with the XML but the people on this forum especaily BJ have been really helpful.

Anyone thinking about switching just put MxM on as an app and a really cool skin like Power of X and within a day you will change it to your main dash.

Now if we could just convince the diehard Evo-X fans:

Die hard is right. I have a couple of friends that I tried convincing to at least try MXM and they just don't want to switch to anything else. I think it's mostly out of fear of having to configure stuff.

BTW BenJeremy, I was wondering if in a future release, you could make it so when we copy a game to the HD, we can just have the list of games automatically update by just pointing to the games directory. The Autoupdate feature currently used now doesn't work quite right as when I use it, I usually get a whole bunch of other stuff come up that aren't even games, and I think that has to do with it looking in the UDATA folder and not where the games are actually at.

I don't know if you understand what I'm trying to say, but what I'm getting at is this:

You press a button (y or whatever) and there's a menu option to search for new games installed. You select that and you can "explore" to the drive and location of where the game was installed and add it to your game list. Instead of having it search your entire hard drive like it is now.

Yeah, I'm cogitatin' a few new ways to handle the automenus, so things can happen a bit more dynamically and without any trouble with resetting the menu cache.

Make it like 1/20 of the size and it'd fit pretty good.

That was my fear also having to reconfigure the menu to the way i liked it, but now that i know how love.gif

And about the automenu thing it would be nice if it just added a game to the menu automatically like EvoX did, this is the ONLY reason why i won't put MXM on my friend's xboxs yet, i don't want to have a phone call or have to go to there house to show them how to add a game to the menu (sorry i'm just not a good teacher or have patience for those type of things) and they're not exactly what you call computer savvy either so directing them to Tut's and guides on how to edit the XML would not help, they just like things to work, so EvoX will have to do for them for now
