I'm looking for Config Magic to lock my hard drive. Who makes that sofftware because i did a search on google and it didn't give me a specific website for the company. If some1 could point me to the ConfigMagic website or anywhere where i can d/L the latest release please let me know. Thanks alot.

Also do i need to give my new hard drive the same lock password as the original or can i change it? And if it needs 2 be the same how can i check what the password is? Thanks again Srry for the Double Post

As for Config Magic, you have to get a copy at "the usual places" (do a search for that on the boards and you'll most likely find a source.)

The new key for your new hd will be different. It's based on a few things, including your HD model. ConfigMagic generates it all for you.

Why do you even want to lock your drive? You don't need it if you aren't booting to the MS dash by default or using xbox live
