I just bought the new executor 2.2 pro. My problem is that I can't find anywhere a tutorial to install it. I know there are many everywhere on the net BUT I have the new red version which has different parts than on all tutorials I have seen.The chip is different, the dip swith,on-off button and led are on a separate module and the 'ribbon' that goes next to the video is very very short. For those of you who don't know what i,m talking about the parts are shown at this address;

you've got headerpins, a d0, and a switch shown there, as well as programming instructions....what else do you need?

There is nothing new about that version. I pre-ordered mine the first day the pro came out and that is what I got.

They did email me something about black ones or red ones and they said the only difference was the color.

That is what you call an Xecuter2.2 Pro. Plain and simple.

Try this thread worldxbox.co.uk it helped me out with a visual on getting a good look on how everything gets connected. You might have to register before it works.

Actually the difference is not just the color. The black one are compatible with Xbox versions up to 1.2. The red one is compatible with Xbox versions up to 1.3.

Or so I think. I'm pretty sure that's it though.

The Red chips are 2.2's which works on all Current xbox versions
The Black chips are 2.1's which work on Systems up to a 1.2
