Sorry for my English, I'm Italian

I've susbt. my 10GB Seagate XBOX Hard Drive with a 120GB Samsung and I'va to use the 10GB on an old pc, is it possible??? Thanks.

Or you use configmagic to unlock the HDD on the xbox itself. After that you can partition/format on the Pc.

Hi guys, I'm italian, so sorry for my bad english. I have read the guide "http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/pc-hdd.php" but my xbox hd don't want to disable.

I have made a backup and edit "hddinfo.txt" :

This is my original:

Disk Serial Number : "5JRB5YPL "
Disk Model Number : "ST310014A "
HDD Key : 8c:2b:b7:1c:10:f7:ef:9c
18:e6:b4:07:7c:df:2b:c8
fd:ae:1b:2b:00:00:00:00
00:00:00:00:00:00:00:00

I have modifed it:

Disk Serial Number : "5JRB5YPL "
Disk Model Number : "ST310014A "
HDD Key : 8c2bb71c10f7ef9c18e6b4077cdf2bc8fdae1b2b

After i have insert the xbox hd in my pc and I have used "hdunlock" with "xbox" same password and it say DONE instead than I use hddisabl with "8c2bb71c10f7ef9c18e6b4077cdf2bc8fdae1b2b" same password it don't say DONE.
Why? Help me please, i have promised my xbox hd to my young cousin that have an old P3 300 MHz with a 2 Gb Hdd and don't have space.

this is what i did;

boot to dos;
use atapwd to see drives
run hdunlock and select the xboxhdd and enter the key.....done
run hddisabl and select the xboxhdd and enter the key.....done
use atapwd to see if its unlocked ..look under the SELFXV it should have a - under the L and E.
UNLOCKED
