There is game play footage of COD 3 found here it looks pretty sweet. It shows some cool looking hand to hand combat at the end. I don't think there is any sound though, might be my speakers, not sure. But the game looks like it is really coming along nicely.

Wow. The explosiosn in that were just... stunning. That's MUCH better than CoD2 in just SO many aspects, and CoD2 is a great game.

this video confirms that the leaked picture i posted a WHILE ago to be true.

this video blew me away honestly, i didnt expect such a leap in graphics in such a short amount of time. the animation is totally evolved from what we see in CoD2, the amount of effects, particles, and physics are way beyond what we are used to in CoD2. I was very very impressed by this short teaser and there is still a few months for more polish and fine tuning.

Having played this just last week - I can confirm that it looks amazing.... that video doesn't do it justice.

That looked damn good, but has anybody been keeping up with Brothers in Arms? The videos I've seen of that are incredible.

I'll say this looks even better than the new BIA game.
It looks like they cut back on the frame rate a little in order to improve on the graphics.

I didn't expect the game to look this good....

not so much with as "owned". We got the code about 3 weeks ago and I happened to be the first one here to play it :-P

i thought the frame rate was about the same, maybe i cant tell because its a smaller video. the game does look much better then i expected though, highly impressive what they have accomplished. I'm curious to whether or not they are using the same engine.

i think thats awsome though that you can play games from other teams. For how hard your job may be at times, there sure are some nice perks. A game like CoD3 really looks like its making the 360 sing in great ways. would it be against any type of NDA to confirm whether or not features were in the code you played? such as the foilage crushing under you when you walk over it?

sorry, dont mean to be causing any issues, just thought since the features were mentioned in a magazine before they were open game for discussion.

very cool still to hear that the video on the internet doesnt do the real game justice.

It didn't look like 60 fps to me (which is the frame rate COD2 ran at), but I'm not complaining.
It's not 30 fps either, like Halo 2, it's some where in between 30 and 60 fps.
I think it's a good balance of smooth frame rate and graphics.

I can't wait, I loved COD 2, one of the very few games I play though more than once. Usually when I play a game, I beat it and then move one, but good grief, it was so much more fun playing on Veteran than on Hardened.

Can't wait to play this one because it I know it'll have a control scheme that I'm comfortable with. I hope that the fighting over the guns with the shoulder button carries over to multiplayer with a system of checks and balances.

Looks good, but i hope to hell it is 60fps. After playing CoD2 @60fps, there is no going back for me.

The last fight with the guy looks cool. However it looks like it will just be a single player thing that might happen everynow and then. The game looks good. They just better have the multiplayer fixed and not like the last one where we had to wait for months before it was fixed. I dont even play cod 2 anymore b/c of that. Even though its fixed now, it was to late for me. Got tired of it.

The explosions were great, and better then the first, but that is the only thing that looks better then CoD2, and worse in some cases. I realize it's hard to make judgment on just a low res video, so hopefully the vid doesn't do the actual game justice, like michael wrote.

Why switch devs when Infinity Ward did such a stellar job with CoD2? Lowest bidder on the franchise?

If it is the same devs, it will be interesting to see if there's any difference between the two versions.

This looks stunning by far the best looking gameplay footage that I have seen on Xbox 360.

Looks good, but I didn't like seeing the planes through the walls (at the beginning of the melee scene).

However, it's a must have game.
