ok, my wireless router died so i found my old switch.

Before i was connected modem->wireless router->cable to xbox
-> wireless laptop

All was fine, and because of the router you get ips like 192.168 etc..

now its like this

modem->switch->xbox
->laptop

xbox is set to dhcp, and finds an ip. Problem is the speed, like 25 k

i try to set the xbox to static, and use my default gateway but then it wont connect

anyone got any clues?
