thanks, but i'm having a hard time understanding that..lets see..
At least have rom ( with a MTK chip set) on a IDE port.
(plug a cd/dvd rom in your ide)
No need to use switch in place of r408.
(no idea what that means)
Boot dos powerup 943 as sys is loaded.
(first turn on pc so the dos prompt comes up, then turn on 360)
Do this from cmd prompt:-
mtkflash r orig.bin
(from what i understand, cmd is loaded through windows.i'm confused)
program will prompt for selection of what port to unload.
(still confused)
Now depower 943
(turn off 360)
Next short to ground pin19 & 20 to ground & now poerup 943.
(mess with the wires next to the sata cable on 360 drive?similiar to wire trick method for hitachi drive? then turn on 360)
Just before selecting the port release pins 19 & 20
(don't know what you mean by port, release the crossed wires before selecting the port)
MTKflash will unload or write sst 39sf020 as normal
(things will go well)
If you apply my patch this proceedure will be no longer necessary
(and if we understand it..lol.)
I appreciate your time showing us other methods, but would you please translate it into a more user-friendly understandable way.
someone replied mentioning less soldering.from what i could interpret, there's no soldering involved at all.or is there?
