i have an oriinal xbox with evox. i was at work and my girl let a kid play with my xbox and i came home to find that when i start it up it tries to log onto xbox live on its own and wont do anything else!!! it wont boot a game, even when i opended it up with the cd tray it usually goes to the linix options. wont do that either!! can i save my xbox?

I'm guessing you have (or had!!) an old softmod.

If your Xbox won't boot a retail game then you need to take the disk out to repair it. If you have the eeprom you can just use xboxhdm, otherwise you have to hotswap and use xboxhdm.
