Hi,
I'm thinking about updating to the Feb. official 2.4 release and I was wondering if I had to for some reason update my config.xml file or if I could just copy over everything but that.

Well no one helped, but that's okay, I helped myself. And if anyone searches for a similar thing I thought I would put in my own 2 cents on the matter.

Well I went through and made the new config.xml file basically identical to the old one, so I guess I can't say I just used the old one, but basically I did. So I think if anyone wants to copy over just new stuff that would work too.

Also I didn't copy over everything, ie. lots of thumbnails and other things that weren't any different I didn't copy over and everything works pretty good.

But congrats, you did what you should do: help yourself.

But you missed the topic on where to download the manual and if you would have taken 1 of those 6 hours browsing this forum you would know the config.xml on a pretty good level.

Do not take this as a flame or attack, just as a note that 99.9999% of all questions has been answered 10th, if not 100th of times befor.
