Where might one locate new/refurb xbox's for sale? generally the prices at popular stores are $179 USD. I was wondering if anyone knows a reliable source selling new systems for less than $179, either in Canada or the US.

the price for new systems is fixed - you can get remans cheaper, but new xboxes are $179.99 everywhere. Any retailer who sells them for less is likely to have a "disruption in supply"

as he said you will not find a legitamate source for under $179.99 for a new one

If you work at a retailer chances are you can get a discount on them, My wife works at target and I can get boxes for 170.00.

just curious, you get yours for 125, how much do you sell them for, and are they all brand new?

there all like new, i strip them and sell parts, i dont know where i get them

I believe they are kb refubbed store returns. I know they only come with a 30 day warranty and many times they are in brown boxes. You do get a new controller and new av/power cords. Not all of em are pretty, but a great price nonetheless. Some have scratched cases and smell of cigarette smoke too.
