hey, the new xbmp doesnt run on evox for some reason, it worked on mxm, but it confused the hell out of me. MXM just was all over the place and i didnt like it at all. so if anyone could point me in the right direction i'd greatly appreciate it.

evox shouldn't matter in launching xbmp because it would use the same command to launch apps, maybe you put xbmp in a wrong spot or something.

have you tried deleting mediaplayer.cut (I think that's the filename) from the c: partition ?
And removing the save (from M$ dash)?

Please please please!
Search the forum!
This has been answered ~10 the last week alone and 20 times the week befor that and so on....
Evo-x is the problem and unhooking the networkcabel will solve the problem in 99% of the cases.
use XBMP, MXM or avalaunch as your dashboard instead and you will be fine.
So, this is NOT a xbmp problem, but a Evo-x issue.....

Again, read the forum and you will see that this do not affect everyone and seam to differ from version of evo-x etc etc.
Not trying to sound like a smartass or make anyone feel bad, but learn to help yourselfs and you will find the solution faster.
You see where i am going with this?

In all honesty - no I don't.
I've soft modded 2 xbox's and installed a chip in 1 (my own).
I've installed Evox, xbmp, relax, SMB, various emulators and applications without asking for any help from anyone, I resent being told to "learn to help yourselfs" when that's ALL I have done.
If I can help anyone I will do, as without the postings and tutorials here I would have had to ask loads of questions.
FIREitUP - PM me and I'll help out as much as I can with this.

That is just that!
All these questions HAVE been answerd so many times on these forums so why not LEARN to help yourself by using the search function and read up on whats been asked and answered?
And it is great that YOU have found out about the tutorials and read them but it seams like not everyone has, (FIREitUP), so what is wrong with telling him to readup on things that are a fast search away instead of posting a thread and have to wait for a bullshit reply?
You see what i mean now?
