i had to use a dremel to cut out the hole
wish i had one of those drill things with the big 2.5" hole cutter so it would be better, its all crooked

Didnt want to start a whole new thread but just like to inform aussies that crystal xbox controllers are now being sold in stores. FINALLY

while this cabinet connects to a pc as well, it does have an xbox wired in currently:

very sleek, I'm interested in building one of those for my house, curious if you could send me some details or blue prints you used, like did you free style? where'd you get the buttons and graphics, (look amazing) but i've got 5 xbox's and I've got 2 that are completely stock, a cabinet like that for MAME would rock!

i hacked up a cabinet i had from years ago. an arcade game no one here has likely even heard of(task force harrier). the control panel, wiring, lighting, etc., is all my work. most of the parts i got online through ebay and other arcade parts dealers. i used pelican's real arcade universal sticks for the control panel, but replaced the microswitches. the jewel on the front is from a "duke" controller. the MAME marquee was made for me. you can find a lot of custom marquee's on ebay also.

you can buy plans to build from scratch on ebay for $2-$10. buying an old cabinet saves a lot of time and money, however.

panzer was an awesome game all the way from the saturn. i cant wait until they release the ala saga style remake soon. thats a nice box-good job.

Just started a Mod for a customer. He's pretty much given me a free rein as to what I can do as long as I stick to his basic theme. It's early days yet so I ain't gonna give too much away.

Completed so far;

1. Removed Green Jewel, cleared away the Green and then sanded where necessary
2. Drilled out small area of Xbox lid so that inside of case can be seen through jewel.
3. Filled in jewel using car body filler, apart from the openings in the picture.
4. Sanded down case to a smooth finish
5. Filled in an area to the left of the "X", which will form part of the finished feature
6. Sanded down built up area
7. 3 Coats of Primer to "X"
