if u pick the black and pink combo a nice touch would be a pink eject led and pink controller ports and 80mm pink fan mod. just a suggestion

Here's my latest work. Done in just 1 day. Someone sent it to me to fix, because they had done a horrible attempt to paint it. It was cut up, blotchy, and basically trash. I sanded the whole thing, but there are still some imperfections, but I did what I could in a day.

This was my very 1st xbox I modded about 3 years ago. I took the pics around that time. Since then, I have gotten a new xbox and sold the old one.

Are you talking about a little line of green on the left hand side of the picture i posted?
That is just a template that I am making and a part that I need to fix. It's not even a real xbox, just a photoshop image.

Here's my box. The Collage Box! Used pieces of magazine, elmer's glue & water, and finished it off with clear coat gloss. It took about 2 days to complete.

Here's another I did today. Pics aren't very good, and I apologize for the rounded border. I took it from my gallery.

It's red with a silver stripe, and a silver plate behind the jewel, so it appears silver when the lights are off. Red jewel LEDs, red eject LEDs, and white port LEDs. My camera really sucks at taking pictures of red LEDs, so they all look orange.

the red and silver really look nice together. great job.

Just finished lighting up my xbox... Added some EL wire and did some experimenting with EL panels... a couple 1"x5" strips from allelectronics.com.

hey i live in a small ass town where we just got cable internet less then a year ago we dont have any hip pads in this town for sale so where would i buy a hip pad sceen from

El-wire to me seems like Spaghetti on a drug indused coma or sum shit, or glowy n stringy, I h8 the stuff,

I put the panels there because the front of my xbox has been rather poorly lit as of late... sure, the controller ports are lit, but that leaves the rest of it rather blah - just metal shielding, and you can't see that when it's dark. I actually wanted to light up the whole front, but cutting out of the center of EL panels (for controller port holes) proves a little difficult, and causes some dark splotches around the cut hole.

I've actually got a combination of el wire and leds lighting the top... works well to light the X. Thinking of doing a little bit o' painting sometime down the road - blacken the grille, maybe the center front, too.

ebay. I was able to get a Game Cube Hip Screen for $8 plus $16 shipping. Not bad for something that originally retails for $100.

Hey sorry I have been away for awhile. Yeah they do look like colorware photos because that is what I used as my main image. I needed a good image to start with and that is the best that I could find with the controller also in the picture.

It used to be nice to visit this thread and see people's boxes, instead of templates and meaningless comments after comments from the same people.
