ok but the xbox comes wit a psu and power cord so how would it cost 150 dollars.

If you actually look at what he's posted, it uses a mini-itx power supply and a converter to make it xbox compatible. Smaller to fit in the smaller box. Costs money to make things smaller.

Yes, he lives in Amsterdam, and is a student (his school has the most 1337 hardware ever though). So, he has to go the cheap way

i dont think its the original dell though its opened so it just might be part dell or just a dell case

1st: It is near Rotterdam not Amsterdam...But I do have cool tools at school (Techinal University Delft: faculty of Industrial Design)

2nd: Yes is a Dell, old one, but working. I think Dell pc's are just fine.

3rd: Nope there isn't a tut on making my case(s). But if you are handy and use common sense you will get there.

Hi im 16 and from UK i jus sprayed my xbox last night and made a cd drive window (still to have the cd drive cut and i have etched plexi with my gamer tag Lu@p on it ) i jus wanted to know if u think it looks kl and so on
I want to chip it but i know sites to buy from but it looks pretty hard
I have also made the jewel clear by using meth spirit which worked well and i cut a hole in the jewel area of the case.
I have 2 red cathodes inside the case and want to add more so please tell me what u think of 1 days
Also i am planning to paint the rest of the case a flat white!
I will post my updates soon

after a butcher job on taking the jewel out i was like then you actually did it pretty good and i was like

bringing up favorites.....

i have been looking on this forum for a while and the majority of u say el wire is well putting it nicely BOLLOCKS lol hehe but really the cathodes inside are quite big and really i cud do with leds but as i admit i am a n00b lol how do u attach leds like for example the cathodes have a 4 pin molex connection and is easy so any help
btw great forum people always willing to help and excellent advice!!!!

well as far as the cuts i drew out a design very simalar to a box i had seen in the forums with the energy swords painted and then i carfully cut it with the smallest dremal bit i could find.
and as far as the discusion with the lettering i used a halo font i found online and masked it off onto the dvd bezel and painted it, cutting the lettering out with an exacto knife was time consuming but it turned out real nice.

suggestion: make the jewel hole a bit bigger and cut the corner off that dvd drive. the jewel hole doesn't look bad (as someone earlier said) it's just weird looking. and the drive just basically looks half-done.

as for the led's, explanations for if yer like me: i enjoy understanding what it is i'm doing.
