Yeah, I bought it from Minnow. He has a picture of the X-Tendo internals on his site, here. I'll get some close-ups when I have time, which I currently do not. The red was krylon interior-exterior paint (not fusion), something I got from my local hardware store...

Hey everyone this is my first mod,i wanted to do something new and never done befor so i did. i did it to a Halo Edition... im retarted. O well im lovin the results!! the jewel i hit and broke with a hammer then hot glued it to gether because i use the wrong kind of nail polish remove to make it clear.. so i sanded it.its also sideways for uniqueness... the jewel lights aren't installed yet but when i do them ill post those pics as well here ya go!!

The front pannel got some flying crap on it durrin painting so its currently MIA. I know it orange not everyone likes orange but, Orange RULEZ.

I gotta change the LED in the dongles (there from radio shack anywayz ) to maby orange? I didnt want to move the controller ports cause it seems every 1 is doing it and yeah... here it is

Its not a waste to me... I got the only one like this so its LE to me im still adding things like a USB hub, controller cable LEDs, im going to fix the jewel LEDs, hardwirering the DVD dongle, then ill get the Xecuter 3 chip install it, the install Linux sit back and enjoy the whole thing . then mod other peoples boxes and make some ca$h!!

I decided to call crewdude's xbox "Sidewinder" remindes me of the COLD Halo Level.

Some pics of my two xboxes

First one is supposed to be Superman themed I got in a hurry on the paint job and this is the first one I ever painted, so it kind of looks like shit. This one has an executer 2.3b and 120 gig HD. Also my first mod....






This one I spent a little bit more time painting it and I think it shows. After I painted it I speckeled the whole thing with chrome paint and the cleared it. The green actually looks like metallic flakes, but the white turned out to look like a light "stone" color. This one is softmodded with a 250 gig HD. I actually got this one for free from a friend because the DVD drive didn't work in it. Well, obviously, with a 250 gig HD I don't have any use for a dvd drive. So I think I got a pretty good deal out of it.

Figured i'd introduce myself and rather than be a "look at me n00b" i'd just tag along on another thread

Bought an X-box last week after seeing a mates streaming videos etc off his pc on the TV etc and figured i had to have one.. found this site and couldnt help myself.. out came the tools and i began . Theres a few more things i want to do especially the jewel light thing.. but for now.. here she is.. basically just chipped, sprayed a few pices of the case (didnt like the LED's visible on the power light thru the clear case) put in a 80mm flexiglow fan.. experimented with some flexiglow EL cable.. but that projects dead in the water for now .. but i have to say a big thanks to everyone who has submitted articles etc they were very helpful great to find such a wealth of knowledge and hints and tips.. anyways here she is and i have quite some way to go

I have the same paintjob on my Crystal, but instead of black I've painted it chrome. No pics yet, will be up soon. The rest I'm gonna paint Tamiya red.

Is it just me or does this thread seem to be dying a slow death? I used to check it daily and see new pics of some nice mods. Now I can go a week and only about 1 page has been added, and it's mostly comments. Is case modding "old news" to a lot of people now? If not, why do you think the thread here is drying up?

I like seeing the originality...

(and yes, I modded my box and posted pics earlier, in the 80's or 90's pages)
