Been awhile since I've posted in the forums, here's mine

First Time I post My Box. Haven't Finished it But Here it is.

On Top I have:
An X to the 5th Power Jewel with a Blue CCFL
A "Hacker" sticker in Japanese Lettering
And a "Hack in the BOx" sticker as well.

Inside I have:
A Matrix solderles chip with two switches in the back of the box that control the chip.
A 120 GB Maxtor 7200RPM HDD

For the paintjob I used Krylon brand spray paint that is specifically made for painting plastic, blue and white of course.

Thats pretty much it. I intend to chnage the stock LED's to blue as well as add Blue LED's to the controller plugs and Controllers themselves. Let me know what you think.











I'm using a white glossy paper underneath the jewel. Is black better? What do you guys suggest?

I'm pretty new to XBOX, infact I just got mine about 6 days ago. But here are some small mods I've done within the last day after studying other's mods for the first 5 days of my xbox posession. WAY more to come.









The blue lines shooting out of the memory card slots aren't real, those are just a glare from my camera. I had decided to do something a bit different by putting LED's pointing out of the little holes in the memory card slot. The LED's are so blinding though, I think I'll need to cover them in hot glue.

Heres my contribution to the modded xbox scene. Already posted a topic, but just wanted it here as well.

just added some ELwire around the case, heres how it looks now. There is a switch I installed on the back to turn the jewel leds, and ELwire on and off.

Gamerz2k has updated their xbox mods section and it is now possible for any of you to simply upload your xbox mod pics off your computer, give it a title, description, in a matter of seconds. There are now comments and ratings for other users to use.

Just go under the xbox section and click on xbox mods just like before. I will add the pics that are in this thread already if you guys would like, or you can add them yourselves.

Eh, im part of the younger xbox scene crowd at only 15. Check out my work. Its not as good as you older guys, but i think its pretty good. I had a blue/grey case but i like the stock black case. It goes good with my green leds. Well check it out.

Alright, I've painted my xbox white and changed the eject button to red. I'm still waiting on my Matrix chip and LED's. I've cleared my jewel but it's foggy and I don't have a pic of it on the box yet... but here's some more recent ones. Oh, I'm turning 15 Dec. 23

Also Blink182house, remember the jewel you wanted of the blink smiley, well it gave me inspiration on my computer, check that out, click link on page. thats over my cd rom window, i did that with a hand engraver, its still got alot of work left on it but its a start.

My first modded xbox, nothing special but I think its nice and clean looking . I have a 120gb HDD in it also. The 2 yellow LED's are HDD activity. I rigged up an 8 led halo but I need to get brighter led's as the ones I got were not that bright.

The power led also flashes all the 3 colours by modding the bios. I have also done a small HDD fan mod and my HDD runs at 22c, CPU is 46c and mobo is 38c. I have also put a tricolour 80mm LED fan in the xbox to replace the stock fan.

I have also done the thermal past on the cpu and gpu also. I get more fun from modding than playing the games

As far as i know you will not find any "clear" cases anywhere, if you wanted one totally clear you would have to make it out of plexiglass. Theres the special edition xbox's that are the clear green and clear black.

Blink, i think a red cc is the way to go, i think im gonna do mine with a green cc

I wanted to use a blue/silver combo but I could only find white Krylon Fusion.. so I went with that. Oh well. Most people seem to like it like this anyway. I will repaint it one day in the future.

It's modded with an Xecuter 2.3 Lite (Switch on bottom left corner of front panel), Blue front power/eject assembly LEDs, blue cathode under Cleared jewel, and a few Xbtool bios changes such as a Blue X startup logo and 30% fan speed. Evolution X 3935 as the dashboard. Maxtor 120gb 7200rpm 8mb cache Hard drive (locked).

I also have a custom jewel from LepPpeR, but I haven't put it in yet, as I need to make the jewel hole a little bigger, but I'm not doing this until I'm ready to repaint it. Here's a picture of that:
