Hi,

I burnt a DivX file onto a CD-R and load it onto my Xbox and tried to use the Xbox Media Player to play it...but nothing happens.

Do I need to convert the DivX (*.AVI) file into an ISO file first before burning it? And is this the same for MP3?

Help please! I'm new at this.

Thanks

What drive do you have? Most xboxes won't read an iso9660 cdr wink.gif

First copy a normal Audio-CD to a CD-R and try play it in Xbox original dashboard, if it doen't play then your Xbox DVD-ROM drive can't read that CD-R, try same a CD-RW, DVD-R/RW and/or a different brand of media. Once you get Xbox original dashboard to play a copied Audio-CD you have possible found a compatible media, now try burn your AVI to the same type of media but in ISO9660 or pure UDF, (same goes for MP3's & all other supported formats).

PS! Make sure have XBMP 2.4 point release or later and that you launch XBMP before insert CD
