Hey, i am making a case for my xbox and i need a 4 device IDE cable for the modded samsung and 3 hd's..... So it neds to look like this I======I=I=I=I
Does anyone know where to get one? I've looked around some local stores with no luck. I know it's possible to make them but i dont have a lot of time and i know i will mess up if i do it without a crimper. So if someone would like to make me one i'll pay for the costs of material, plus some extra of course.

You can go to actionelectronics, They have all the equipment that you need to make yourself a 4 port ide cable.

thanks but that site was kinda confusing. The reason i'm asking for a place to buy or or to buy one off someone is because i dont have the skill to make one myself or the money to buy the proper equipment to make it right.

where abouts are you situated? i could make you one, but i live in Perth Western Australia..

you dont need a crimper really. just go to an electronics store, buy a few feet of ide cable and some clip-on connectors... or, although everyone seems to be against me despite my video (which proves there is NO LAG), buy a trios refurb. for $39 and just use that... much easier

haha well i was reading your post and was thinking "lag" the whole time. The thing is i like making stuff myself if i know hot to do it. The idea of a 4 pole 3 position switch is reall neat to me. And i'f i'm going to have a clear case the wiring will just look cool. I'm in Indiana USA by the way. hmmm that's pretty far.
i'll check around my local electronic store, but i did once before for a shirt time and didn't find what i was looking for.

i made the 4 pole, 3 position switch (looks like an octopus), as well as the 4 device cable (did ferrel's mod). just be careful when switching b/w devices not to crap out one of your hds. this happended to me, killed a 120gb hd. anyway, good luck.

i already have a 4 pole 3 pos switch. I was thinking about making one but i think i would have messed it up and i would look like shit. Really the only think i need is the cable. How did you mess up the HD? Did you switch the power when it was on or what?
