Normally for a 120gb hd i would use slayers autoinstall. For a larger HD how would I go about installing it and formatting it?
Also with a 120gb hd it can be locked with config magic and I can go on live. Is this also possible with larger hd's?

Yup nice duckie... but duckie needs larger HD.. comon someone must know.. And yes I did a search but it only comes up with no mod options. I have a chip and dont mind having a modded xbox.. someone.. anyone??

the size of the drive has no bearing on whether its lockable or not, so provided the drive is lockable it doesnt mater how big it is you can still go on Live with your mod disabled

as for formatting i think you can change the format options in the evox.ini for slayers
