Hi, was wondering could somebody help me, im looking to use the exploit on my friends xbox, his dash is pre 4920 (without live tab), i was thinking of using xlinux, to transfer my 4920 dash board to his, with create a fonts folder, put the fonts in this folder transfer my xbox and xbox book files to this folder, and run phoienex bios loader from the c drive, would this work, putting my dashboard into his and creating a fonts folder, or is there other files needed to be transfered, the reason is i used to update the dash via a live enabled game but now it updates to 2.0 live, and this is no good. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated, im not a newbe just taking a new direction and just want to be sure.

Just unplug the network cable and then update!

You have to use an xboxlive game like Splintercell or mechassault.And the select a tab like play live or download new content.

so the dashboard update is on splinter cell cd, no need for network? i updated xboxs before and always assumed it took the update from the net, before xbox live 2.0 was released. so all i have to is load splinter cell, go to download new levels, and that will update the dashboard to 4920 and not live 2.0
