Is there an official thread for suggestions for additions to XBMP?

if not I'm starting one....

-A really nice addition would be to have the play list shuffle only the songs below the current playing song.
because I usually go and add several albums of music I want to listen to then I go to play list and I have to shuffle and then keep pushing the shuffle button untill the current playing song is back on top of the list. other wise the current playing song could end up at or near the bottom and once it reaches the bottom no more music will play. (I find this quite annoying)

-Sorting by ID3 Tags (instead of the actual folder structure)

-Selecting music to play by id3 tags (select an artist, or genre and it just plays everything that has that tag)

-faster samba support (though it's gotten a LOT better)

-the ability to pull thumbnails for music albums from the internet (like windows media player does)

-the ability to pull movie covers from imdb for divx movies (that would be sweet)

-the ability to thumb nail video files like windows explorer

-just thought of another GOOD one.... since most of our music archives dont change much what if it kept record of what files were where so it could drastically cut down the time it takes to load the list of files because it would already know where to go. if you could get auto updateing to run smooth in the background that'd be great other wise an update button to update the list would be cool too.

You can do this now. You might have to upgrade to a recent beta for this.

Try pressing White when a movie file is highlighted.

no I mean as thumbnails

To hell with the blinding white screens in the visualization. Whats the point of creating something to look at when its going to be full of blinding white.
