Ok, I've checked a whole bunch of sites, and it seems that they all basically have the same pictures. When referring to the picture at the bottom of the page on http://www.xbox-scene.com/modchips/x-ecute...n_diagrams.html , it shows the d0 as part of a sort of string of other points. In the v1.3, theres not the same number of points....so i dont know which one it is.

Is it possible to solder to an alternate d0 in v1.3? i havent read anything that says that its specific to older versions of the xbox.

Are you *sure* that:

1) You have version 1.3
2) You are really looking for it in the right area

? I have a 1.2 board and I've soldered the alternative d0, it's really easier than the original d0. I have a x2 Pro and I did a pin-header install and passed the gray wire (d0 one) throught one of the available (nos soldered) LPC holes to reach the alternative d0 point, no cable extension using this smile.gif

I am SURE that i have a 1.3, serial numbers match, manufacturer's dates match, and i got a samsung dvd.

but looop69, the number of points in the string dont match that which is on the 1.3 board, how did you know which to solder to?
