My xbox has been plugging along fine ever since installing my x2.2 about a month ago... until today. I went to turn it on and it attempts to boots twice (each lasting about a second until the next try) and then on the third boot shows me the green and red alternating light.

This happened completely out of the blue and I have no clue as to why. Does anyone have anything to check or am I just plain screwed? With the chip turned off the xbox works fine and the chip shows all lights so I know d0 is aligned. Im completely befuddled so any help you could provide would be very appreciated.

Thanks for your time,
a newly xboxless cyberwolf

I've had the same problem with my xbox v1.0 and Matrix. Booted, gave red-green, booted again, and again and finally turned of, only it gave a annoying beep with me, maybe since i have v1.0. I realligned the chip it (took a lot of time) and finally it worked again, maybe you need to tighten the screw a little, but just try realligning, and do it very precise.
