I got an xbox with a 80 Gb HD in it which runs just fine.
If i buy another xbox, will i be able to get the drive in it without any problem ? Or will i have to format it again with the KEY stuffs ?

As long as you mod the new xbox first, it will work.
As far as I understand all of it, if he didn't lock the drive he should
be fine on a modded box.
But If he did lock it, he will have to relock the drive...
