I got NTSC Conflict Desert Storm 2. When I put the disk in my Matrix modded Xbox, it struggles to find the disc, and then eventually boots to Evolution X dash reporting "No Disk" in the status area. Obviously it is not showing up when I go to FTP it either.

Sound familiar to anyone? I did take the game back and exchange it. Same result.

I am using the EvoX 4976.02 bios with Evolutionx 3921 dash.

All other games seem to boot, both backups and originals, with no trouble. Any ideas?

when I copy it I cant play the game.

Some games checking (DVD) Region Code instead of PAL/NTSC ?

Make sure your EVOX.INI file has all the IGR set to off. This will enable the Desert Storm II to work smoothly. Once you change this ENJOY!!!!

OK i have the PAL Version of CDS II. It would load up, let me train and do everything else but let me start the mission or play the game. It the same thing" Disk maybe dirty or something like dat. Now that is a TEASE....

Same here:) But i'm searching to see if I read bout someone with the same prob and how it was fixed.

I had that same problem (dirty disc) and set the IGR to off (NO) in EVOX.INI file, and now the game works great!

I'm putting the IGR things to OFF in the settings and the game doesn't start at all, I Have a PAL version of it Full DVD on my NTSC Console, the Game just won't start, dirty dick all the time

!!! HELP !!!

Having same problems with "dirty dick" i mean disc, differnt post advised using DVD2XBOX, after installing i could then at least play the game off the disc, but still got "dirty disc" off the HD. I will try turning the IRG off tonight, maybe between the two it will work

I changed all IGR's to NO and it now wroks perfectly. Thanks for the help.

ihad same problem i could not play my original, or my back up, i had to use enigmah video selector to get my original to work & for my back up you have to go into the movie file & change something.PAL & name.pal files just rename them all replacing the .PAL with .NTS
etc
worked like a charm
i have 1 IGR on & have never had a problem with it
