How can i just through in this CD-R in my Xbox and copy it to a dir on my 300 gig F:

I have Millions of CDR's full of DivX movies on them there all CD-r's and i have a samsung drive i just want to copy a avi from a CDr. How can i do that Dvd2xbox program doesnt work on xbox from my Cdr's
Mr Ed
You could ftp them from your PC to your XBOX.

You could also tell us more about the CD-Rs. What format they are in, for example. And what you see on your D drive when you put them in your XBOX.

My guess is they are formated in a non-compatible format for the XBOX. Most XBOXs won't read CD-Rs, although Sammys are supposed to.

Heh, I wouldn't worry about it. I'm 99% certain that it's a media issue, given that they're CD-Rs.

I know but sometimes there's a bug.
Right now I'm implementing the newest ISO sources and they seemed to be a little bit slower but much more reliable. Most of my ISO CDs are working now.
Sir Auros
In a related question (in that it involves DivX on CD-R's), my Xbox reads some CD-R's in Xbox Mediaplayer, but always freezes before the end of the disc. Is there some reason other than the discs being CD-R's that it's doing that?

Any type of CD-R i have i tryed them all, all my Xbox sees is the DivX movie at 0 bytes....it playes it in XBMP flawlessly but i want to run DVD2Xbox and Copy that avi from the CDr' now if XBMP plays it it can read the whole thing but DVD2XBOX only reads the whole CDR as 0K. Memorex CDR's Compusa CDR's all the cdrs read in xbmp but not in any thing else not even boxplorer

This wouldn't be becuase XBMP has ISO9660 support and the other programs don't would it?

yo dvd2xbox please enable iso9660

Since 0.3.9 dvd2xbox uses the iso9660 source of XBMP. But the library reacts a little bit confused when used recursive. However you should see at least the movie in the disk browser. It may show it as 0MB or something but that's only because the library was to slow when showing file sizes and I decide to not implement it.
