I've now decided that with the advent of EvoX, it's time to get my XBOX fitted with a mod chip so I can run it. Forget the backups, this thing is excellent. I've got 3 engimah finals here (shipping mistake in my favor ;o). I was asking IRC folks about running EvoX after having an Enigmah installed, and I hear that there is only mixed results.
I was going to have my chip fitted professionally by a service here, so I believe it should be fine. However, I'm now being told that I should really go with homebrew if I want to use EvoX. Unfortunatly, I'm not savvy enough with flashing new chips to even know where to begin.
If someone could post below or link to other posts (or website FAQs) about getting started with the concept of homebrew, that would be great. Other reasons why not to use an enigmah with it would also be appreciated.

All I want to do is get EvoX up and running!
