uhh.gif I have a philips dvd+rw a what is the recommended program to create ISO's and then burn them?

I have tried primodvd and it doesnt support (+).

I have also tried to burn an .ISO using recordnow max and that didn't work either.

If anyone else is using the same DVD+RW that I am using, what media did you successfully burn with?

All help GREATLY appreciated.

I`ve got also the philips 228, it burns fine with primo, recordnow max and Nero, i think you`re dvd+rw isn`t accepted by the proggies smile.gif

I use Platinum works fine!

Nero generally doesn't work too well with Xbox ISOs.
Also, you should know that PrimoDVD is relatively old software (when considering the recent advances in DVD burning). Prassi has since been bought out by Veritas, and what used to be PrimoDVD is now RecordNow Max. Try using RecordNow Max (or Platinum or whatever) and see if that has better support for your burner. The current version is 4.1, but 4.5 (which I hear is due out in the next week) will have support for the DRU500A allegedly.

Also, to create the ISOs, use GDFimage/ISOmaker.

Hi,

I can burn using recordnow max fine but it always seems to want to record at 2.4x (even when it says 1x). As I say, recording is working fine on +RW and +R media (as long as I use a decent brand), but I would like to try recording on cheaper +R disks @ 1x, is this possible in recordnow max or am I missing something.

I've got a philips 228 btw.

TIA
