Full Version: Soul Caliber 2 Black Screen Fix

I have an original Disc and copied it to my hd biggrin.gif biggrin.gif . Loaded the backup and all I got was a blank screen with sound mad.gif mad.gif . Put the original in and got the same thing sad.gif sad.gif . WTF I have the original grr.gif grr.gif . I had to disable all video settings (in MS dash) except 480. The orginal and and backup works now. Not sure why it did this. Some sort of counter measure?

Ever thought that maybe your TV doesn't support 720p? Hmmm.. blink.gif

probably the game don't support 720p,but to put sc2 in xbox hd and run u need a patch

The game does support 720p, and he was having trouble running it from the disc too...

then he got it working from both HD and DVD in 480p - go figure.

I am having the same problem but not only with this game but with Tony Hawk 4. I think the problem is with any 720p games. Just like the other guy when I disable 720p in MS-DASH it starts working again (both games)

Please help I would really like to play my games in HDTV.

I am using the Xecuter2 w/ the correct cables.

Never Mind... did some research and found out my TV does 480p, 1080i but no 720p.

I FEEL CHEATED!!

But anyways my advice to people is if they have this same problem to look up the stats on thier TV. I have a very nice TV and it doesnt support 720p. Would have never thoght.
