This probably sounds like a dumb question, but how do you remove the media patch from xbe's? I recently used dvd2xbox, and noticed that it automatically applies a media patch to xbe files it finds. However I would like my xbe's to be as they were on the dvd. Is there some kind of depatcher, or could someone give me the hex code that needs altering in the dvd's so I can get them back to their original state.

The hex code can be found in the Patching thread that is named in the pinned list at the top of this form.

Alternatively, there are links in the first post of that thread to download ADR Patcher and an updated patch.data file. Download both. ADR has a built-in function to restore the media checks to files.

I THINK that dvd2xbox also modified bytes 214-217 from "02 00 00 00" to "FF FF FF FF". Just reverse this as well.
