Is there a program that can extract ISOs or ZIP files on the xbox? Because I have a TINY harddrive on my PC... Maybe a great idea for a new program if there isn't one...

How will you get the .ISO files to your Xbox? If on DVD, then use dvd2xbox to copy files.

Also, xISO xFER will ftp from your PC to your Xbox. It takes the .ISO file on the PC and transfers all the files in it to your Xbox.

You can find them in the "usual places".

I mean like... If I FTP the ISO or ZIP file to the xbox, is there a program or something that runs on the xbox that can extract the files?

Did you read the second paragraph above?

Why would you want to ftp an .ISO file to your Xbox then?

You can install linux on the XBox, and then use any of the linux extraction utilities.

I'm not sure if there is a good distro out there that will allow you to have files (and/or virtual filesystems) greater than 4 gigs in size though.

For just over $100 you can get yerself a 160GB internal HD. That's about the price of 2 XBOX games.

But it sounds like xISO xFER is what you want.

ok I think I'll buy one of them...
