OK,


I have yet to get anything in .gi format until today. Then I notice it is Prassi Primo. (the game is DOAX)
So that's not a big deal. I figure i will just burn it to DVD-RW and then rip from Xbox dvd to drive with HDDLoader.

Well. I got to thinking. There gots to be a way to take the ISO out of the .gi and the XDFSextract it for loading to the box.

Can anyone gimme a hand on how ?

GI = Global Image - it is an ISO just with a different form of holding the information. Download ISOBuster to extract the data from it.

I found in an earlier post someone said something about DVD2XBOX. Would this work also ? Will it read .gi images ?

I think i tried extracting to ISO from ISOBuster and get an error. Could be bad .gi/.iso. Getting "could not read primary volume descriptor (pvd).

I have never worked with .gi before so not sure if i am doing it correctly.
I am opening one of the .gi in Isobuster, choosing extract raw data to (.iso, .bin)
