I'm new to XBMP and Xbox mods in general. What I need to know is, how do I install XBMP or something like xcopy in the xbox? If I ftp into the box I see the 6 drives C:-H:. In F:/ I see a folder called Games and in Games are all my games. In exox there is an option for Apps also. but I don't see an Apps folder. How do I get this to work? Please provide me with a link to a help or Faq

Just make a folder called whatever you like. Usually apps in E: or F:


Then open evox.ini and add into the section Apps

Section "Apps"
{
SortStart
AutoaddItem "F:\Apps\"
SortEnd
}

Making a "AutoaddItem" that points to the folder you created. Now that will scan the Apps folder for directories with a default.xbe in and autoadd them into a menu.

eg it would add the following programs automatically

F:\Apps\xbmp\default.xbe
F:\Apps\dvd2xbox\default.xbe

You can have multiple entries or you can add single Items like this:
Item "Invaders","f:\games\invaders\default.xbe"


You can customise it however you want it. It might seen confusing at first but play with it and you can do whatever you want.
