Can anyone tell me why i cant ftp to my xbox. I have the xecuter 2.2 pro with 4977 bios and i put in the evox build 3921 boot cd in the xbox. I then use the flashfxp and it find the xbox but then drops the connection. My other xbox never gave me this problem.

Yes I have a router and i gave my xbox an ip and the ftp programs can see the box for a sec and then the connection is lost.

check all your cables and hardware...

The problems is that its not a hardware issue. I can use the evox sys utilies to see that my ip address is correct.

that's good but how do you know you don't have a flaky cable... which is causing the connection to drop.

I can telnet to the bax with no prob and I use the same cable for my other xbox

I would try using the 3752 version of Evox it is stable and I've seen alot of people that have had problems in the FTP with 3921. Can you ping your xbox?

yes I can ping the box. It should be working but when flashfxp tries to connect it says trying to list ls/ but nothing happens.

don't use static ip. set it to NO and then reboot

Does the modchip bios affect the use of an ftp program?
