What DVD drive should I use in my xbox I have the thompson drive and I hate it. It can't read CD-RW disks I have tried mutiple cd-rw disks and none of them work. If I can replace the drive where can I go to buy one? Is it a normal dvd drive?

P.S. does a thomson drive read dvdr's... i have never tryed.

my thompson reads cd-r's. My friend burned a cd of music and he tried it on my xbox and it worked... I didn't know until that day, the cd was blank on the top there was no brand. So I'm guessing its one of the cheap ones.

I use Memorex or Sony DVD-R's they both work great. With the memorex cd-rws mine won't read is there something I'm doing wrong? I pretty sure I have the thomsons dvd drive and the picture thing to tell me what kind I have it looks like the thomsons. Do I need to burn the files at a slower speed or what. Is there a trick to it? Cuz its driving me crazy.
