I am having some real difficulties with xbmp...personally I think it blows ass! I put it on my hd, then i configed my xml, didnt work. So i dl a automatic config thing and it did it for me but my videos are still not showing up in my videos!! What is the damn problem. I have been messing around with this thing for about 4 days. Can someone please help?!

Also...do I need an apps folder to be able to see my vidz???

try reading the forums. make sure your using the right slashes but its pretty straight forward, just set the videos to the directorty where you videos will be on the xbox hdd

You dont need an apps folder no.

Just stick your videos in a folder and point the config to it as a share in hte videos section.
