Hi everyone,

Im new to the modding scene and it all interests me very much. i purchased the Executer 2.2 lite+ and it should be here today. I've read the alot of the tut's and still have some unanswered ?'s and am confused on some things that maybe yall can help me with. I'm tryin to get together all of the software i will need to do my install. I've already got EvoX and such, so i WONT be asking, "where do i get xxx" cuz i am smart enough to use #xbins. My ? is what all software will i need. Some of the tut's say i need Ozxflash, and x2mb, and some say i dont. If at all possible can someone compile a little checklist for me. Also, which bios should i get. Im still a lil confused about that.

In my sig you can see what you can do with a X2.2lite+.
I can recommend the Xecuter 4977 bios, 4978 is also ok, but still beta.
You can use x2bm to create the 1mb bios.bin, but there are other solutions (batch file that generates a 1mb bios.bin is also on xbins). I allways use x2bm to create my bios files, and never had any problems.

It contains info on how to determine the brand of your dvd, what media you should use, Ozxflash (I didn't need it, so I assume you won't need it also).

thanks siglo........One more question. Can i use the bios that came in the bios folder of EvoX or do i download a different bios such as the xecuter 4977.

I would reccomend one of the Executor bios unless you have a version 1.4 or 1.5 xbox (check xbox-scene.com for how to tell.)
I would also like to say welcome and thanks for not being the typical n00b and figuring out where to get files yourself

yea, even me being a noob to this, when i see ppl keep on asking where to get files when it is plainly written "do not ask us for files or where to get them" it gets on my nerves and shows me that they arent really trying.
