i have some trouble with some backups they work not properly
if running on harddisk.

Dino Crises 3 - works fine first. u can start to play go around
push the button for the first door and when u open the first door
u cant move or press any button on the controller anymore.

Die Hard Vendetta - when u finish the second level and want
to go thru the window for the next level the game freezes.

i heard from another guy he has the same problem in dino3
so mabe the game needs to be patched to run from hdd?

just to let u know. all newer games need to be patched to run at all. Feb.2003 and newer need patching.

thx a lot for ur fast answer. i loaded the files at the end of ur post.
i read the nfo file, it seems to be easy, the exe writes the data
in the iso-file with the right patch data file.

so u have the patchdata file for fifa2004.
but where can i find the patches for my games? for example
dino3 and die hard?

the patches are the same for all the games, just use adr patcher (theres a link in nezff's sig!) on your pc or rip the games to your hdd using dvd2xbox, as it patches for you!

I have a DVD-R backup of Halo. It runs fine on my xbox (v1.0 w/thompson). I let a friend borrow to see if it runs on his unmodded xbox (v1.2 w/samsung). It doesn't run. I don't understand why. Is there something in the backup process that 'un-signs' the games .xbe? Or does this have something to do with the DVD-R media?

u can't run backups on a unmodded box. where have u been, read and search next time.

my friend has older xbox and older mod chip than me he has reg xecuterlite i have 2.2lite, but yet he can play kill switch i cant, he can play tigerwoods he can play madden i cant! so someone fix this problem, and i will give send them 20 bucks i promise lol.

I had the same problem also. I was running the X2 4977 bios Kill Switch would not play from the HD (when I would select the difficulty level, it would hang). I flashed the Evo 7 bios and everything works great... new 20 or old 20

What is diff between adr and craxtion? Doesnt our the bios do it for you?

adr is just a patch program, craxion is an iso proggie that patches at the same time!

yes the latest bioses patch on the fly, but some people have non flashable modchips or cant/are too scared to flash their chips!!!

Do you think the reason alot of us cant play some games, is cause newer xbox's have some sort of block? Maybe we need to wait for newer bios? Fill me in someone.
