ok, i got all the files....they are all unrared, then I used xiso to unpack the iso, next I want to put the game in my harddrive.......do i put this game in the harddrive the same way i do the others.......?????????????

the reason I'm asking is the files I got is( default.xbe, disc1_0.dat thru disc1_8.dat, and disc2_0.dat thru disc2_8.dat)

I have never seen a game packed this way before.......and the info file for MGS2S says it is packed to be recorded on 2 dvd-r disc...

I don't want to waste my time if it is not posible to play from HD......

TIA..........

The ONLY way to play this game is to put it on your HD. Or if you buy the original. The original is on a dual-layer DVD, 6.5 gigs. The only reason you'd burn it to 2 DVDs is for having a copy of it in case you lose your HD data. You CANNOT play it from 2 DVDs. So yes, just put it on your HD just like all the other games and it will run just fine.

The Legendary Rob, how could you do that? any special patch?

well it doesn't play rite yet... i gotta find out what files are in which DAT files. but all i did was fit as much as i could into 1 dvdr (all of disc1 and first 2 files of disc2 DAT files). the rest of the files i dummied up using DREAMCAST dummy file maker (those in ps2 scene should know what this is). i created iso using isomaker 1.21 with files and burnt. game boots like i said but u have to push A to skip intro movie (i figure i didn't include it in the files i chose) or else it freezes. anyways i started new game and plays for a bit but it freezes with error saying DISC DIRTY or something like that.

Hehe

Hence why the .nfo of the release group that released this game says you need to play it off the hard-drive smile.gif

i read the .nfo but there are other alternatives. if u burn project-x's release according to their dvd1 and dvd2 format it won't even boot, well i got it to boot. and i'm not using project-x's release i bought the game and tryin to put it onto 2 dvd's
