I took my 80 gig hdd out of my old xbox before i sold it. it has evox on it as well as several backups. it would be nice to keep all of them so i don't have to re-upload everything.

i'm buying a new xbox and i'd like to put this new xbox in with all of it's contents. new xbox will have evox on bios and it's stock hdd.

can i just pop in my 80 gig hdd from my previous xbox no problem? if not, then what? i know how to install a hdd that's brand new with nothing on it but i doubt it's the same process for one that's already partitioned.

I assume from your post that you are buying a new xbox with a modded BIOS.

You will have no problem plugging your old 80G drive into the new xbox. Everything should come up just like your old xbox.

as long as you unlocked your 80gig hdd before taking it out, or never locked it in the first place.

Like rotNdude said, you should be fine doing that, aslong as you didn't lock the
80gb while it was in the old box.
