I got a couple of dvds vob's on my hd, 2f2f and the matrix reloaded, ne ways, they r all pixelated, and also 2f2f 3rd vob is in sum other language, how do i fix all dis bs

ok the .vob is a raw DVD image. With that said that means theres little to no compression. So I'm thinking that the xbmp is using alot on memory and cpu resources to encode and decode the .vob to display the images. I would Convert the .vob's to .avi or divx or make them a vcd. And you cant "change" the subtitles. You ripped the wrong part of the dvd. Its usally like ts_video01 or sumthin or rather. I believe that www.vcdhelp.com is a good site if that doesnt help you. google "VCD help".

I haven't tried this with an XBox yet, but with a PII 350 (not celeron), I was able to stream VOBs over a 100 megabit connection with only a few problems.
As far as rippers go, on the PC end, check out Smart Ripper.
Just for fun, play it on the computer after it's ripped- this might point you in the right direction.

hey, i tried converting to an avi file with vidomi but its still screwed up, but thanx for the language problem, that got it fixed
