ok someone NEEDS to clue me in here,, how the hell does MXM make the xbox recognise the dvd-r i made when Evox REFUSED to do it.
i copied Music mixer and evox REFUSED to read the dvd,, so i said screw this and loaded MXM ,, and guess what,, it INSTANTLY recognised and is currently playing Music Mixer.

if my suspisions(sp) are correct, mxm MAY just run other MS DVD-r's
it wont run crimson skies from the hard drive but i wonder if it will run my dvd-r of it.

but anyways,, can somsone explain to me how or why mxm does that ??

and what else can this thing do ?

Not sure why this is directed towards me.. but I would say it was a concidence. If you have an extra PC DVDROM laying around, hook that up to your Xbox for appropriate testing.

i was, up until crimson skies using my pc dvdrom ,, but the stupid game didnt like the pc dvd so i had to switch back. and in fact certain bios's refuse to play anything from the pc dvd, dont know why,, it just is.
if i ftp or anything to the dvd it only saw the video_ts folder, but the xbox one saw all the files on Crimson skies dvd.

and i asked for you simply cuz i trust your knowledge.

i kinda like mxm,, but from what i saw of the data sheet its still under heavey testing ?

you know of anyone who is knowledgeable in mxm ? id like to know more about this dashboard.

update,., so far it wont play CS ,, lets try topspin now. maybe,, hopefully,, maybe..

There are actually TWO MXM boards here at XS. And, the creator of MXM is also a very active member here as well.
