I've been out of the Xbox-Scene for a while since I chipped my Xbox.
Every thing has been working just fine.

I recently Backed-up my Rainbow Six to my Hard Drive, but I'm a liitle concerned about the fact that RainBow Six Automatically logs in to Xbox Live during the start sequence.

I'm afraid that I will get banned from XboxLive.
Short of unplugging everytime I play from the Harddrive, what can I do to ensure not to get banned? Is there a setting I don't know about? uhh.gif

Remember that I've been out of it for a while, Please be kind. biggrin.gif

Rainbow Six 3 is a Live Aware game. It will log you in IF your profile is the same as your Live gamertag.

I made my profile, shanbox, and it works fine. Doesn't log in on my modded Xbox.

On my unmodded Xbox, it logs me in right away because my profile is shanafan in the game, as well as my gamertag.

Also: make sure to go to the main xbox dashboard, and turn off "auto-login" for Xbox aware games. Im not sure if that will help, but i figure its gotta do somthing...

It has no relation.

My unmodded Xbox has auto sign-in enabled, but R6 3 still logs in when I load it.

Thanks Shanafan, that was very informative......

My Xbox Live Tag is DucatiMr2,
I should name my R6 3 profile to ROGUE then it should be OK......

On my Unmodded Xbox, I should make my Profile DucatiMR2 to take advantage of XboxLive Aware..........

Thanks again biggrin.gif

the first time I ran this game - it automatically connected to live, modchip was switched on as well.
Everything went a bit slow-motion after that as I dived towards the power button shouting 'Noooooo........'
and wouldn't you know it, I'm now banned biggrin.gif
Put on a new eeprom, tried to do an account recovery and it can't access my account or some details are invalid, rang the support desk and they can't find me at all uhh.gif

because of situations like this i don't backup my live games onto my hard drive. I also disconnect my ethernet coord when my chip is on.
Ces2k3
so shanafan did it try to connect to live on the first try? if so then ima use my cd on mod chip of to create a another name and then back it up
deresDK
Why you people just simply dont disconnect your ethernet cord before you run live enabled games and problem is resolved !??
Is it so hard to do for you?

No, it does not automatically connect to Live. Do not make your profile for the game as the same name as your gamertag.

Or, use the same name as your Live account, but just disconnect the cable.

I keep my GT on a mem card, and only put it in when I plan on playing live.

That is another way to avoid problems like this... no GT on the box means no way it can log you into live.

OMG this is the way... But do u have to copy the acount to the HD or can u just plugg the card in and play?

It would be cool if the communicator headset plugin can store one Xbox Live account. This way, when you plug in the communicator, then the account is found. If the communicator is not plugged in, then you can't log in to live.
