ok i've installed the slayer's auto installer 2.5 and have everything running smoothly now. My question is I can't get my xbox connected using an ftp program. I read the tutorials and I still can't get it to work. Here's what my screen read under settings/info on my xbox:

TYPE-(BLANK)
IP-(BLANK)
LINE STATUS-NO LINK!
SETUP NETWORK-YES
USE STATIC IP-NO
IP=192.168.1.200
SUBNETMASK-255.255.255.0
DEFAULT GATEWAY-192.168.1.1
DNS-194.63.248.1
DNS-217.13.7.140
SETUP DEALY-5

also i read somwhere to change the use static ip adress to yes and i did that, but everytime i check on it again it sets back to no, how do i save it like that?

thanks,
scott

LINE STATUS-NO LINK!
means that you dont have a cable plugged into the back of your xbox or if it pluged into your router or hub make sure it has 3 lights on the front for the port which the cable is plugged into

number one if it says no link, then u don't have a cable in or something.
if u set the ip to static YES, then go down to the bottom of that menu and there should be a listing that says EXIT, SAVE AND EXIT. click save and exit, reboot. do u have a router, if so i can help u out, that is the way i have mine. and also i have hooked it to a laptor with a system link.

if u have a router, then make sure static is set to NO.
cable not plugged in if no line status.
go to EVOX website and they have every way to hook it up with a NIC card or router.
