Ok here is the issue I try to load NBA street Vol 2 and the screen always goes back to the evox menu.

I've tried putting in the "item" command in the evox.ini to make sure that the link is pointing to the correct default.xbe. However the problem keeps happening.


Has this happened to anyone else?

any help would be appreciated.

Try switching between PAL and NTSC.

this happened to me wheni first backed it up. It was right when i first moddded my box. it ended up being because i had a real old bios that didn't have the new media patch built in. what bios are you using, and are you sure all IGR's are off?

The same exact thing happened to me!!

make sure your clock is set correctly and igr is turned off!

I think I found the reason why I was having this problem. When I tried to replace the default.xbe from the game withone a friend used teh game started up. Unfortunately, a screen came up saying that there was a problem with disk ( dirty or damage disk error) and the game froze.

Obviously this was caused because the default.xbe I had in place was not the original one. I know that I back-uped the US version. So Im guessing the problem was caused when I transferred over the game ( bad extraction or something).
