hey guys

i have finally got it monsterland for mame but to my dismay it don't seem to work on the mameox for xbox yet works good on normal mame for pc anyidea why this is and if so do i have to change any settings on mameox to play it pleeaaaaaaaaaase help i'm trying to relive my youth


any ideas would be apreciated ??

oh and another question if no one has a clue why it works on one and not the other how bout using kawa-x to play it

Kawa-X doesn't run MAME games, it does however run CPS1/2 and NeoGeo.

I second that... your ROM must be hosed.
Try to get another one. Other than that, play Kiki Kiki Boys on Kawa-X, as it's a very similar game.

ok i have downloaded lots of wonderboy in monsterland roms for mame and none seem to work and also i been trying to get kawa-x to work but it dosen't seem to regonise the neo-geo roms it say somthing about a neogeo.zip file u need tho i did download it but it still seems not to work what exactly do i have to do with it where is it stored and do i need to unzip it ??

What he said. Check your ROM w/ clrmamepro or romcenter, with a .DAT that matches the MAME version that you're using (.74, .76, etc). You could also play the Genesis/Megadrive version of this game.

i don't think this game exists for genesis. there are other games from the wonderboy series on the genesis but not this one. however you could play it on the master system emu.
there is also a good version for pcengine hugox emu but the end of level bosses are different for some reason.
the arcade mame version is best and i a have a full romset and some monster land roms don't work but at least one of the versions plays fine for me.
