Just wanted to thank everyone on this board for their helpful posts over the last few weeks. Last night I finally recieved my Solderless Chameleon 1.3 and headed home after work. I had already prepared my Bios disk and Slayer's 2.5 ahead of time as well as backed up my C and E partitions via FTP.

Opened my Box (1.1, Thomson drive) found the LPC points and DO and laid the chip down on the board. Fired up the Box, soft flashed with 4977, and set up a retail HD with Slayer's disk. 45 minutes later I had a newly modded Box that was ready to play anything I threw at it - as long as it was DVD-R! (BTW My Thomson drive seems to like Imation media)

Ok now what? I guess it's off to xbins.org to see what cool homebrew stuff I can put on my *NEW* Box....
